I sat on a conveyer belt once without being told. It was fun and interesting, but fortunately there was no one on the other side of the wall (and it was a long time before everyone got so security conscious).

I knew a couple of people in college who got arrested for trespassing at the airport in Austin doing that. This would have been 1990 or 1991, I think. They spent that night in their own beds in the dorm, at least.
