That's when he noticed the flat tire. It wasn't flat (not that flat anyway) yesterday.
So we started pumping up the flat tire (luckily a front one) with a hand pump. We had the rim off the ground when the skinny little rubber hose between the pump and the tire split.
So I didn't get to/have to drive around the field to see how long the engine would continue to work (in other words, is it really fixed or only pretending to be fixed, since it had worked fine before it quit last time.)
And my email client is working again, after I undid something I'd done to try to fix it.
