Errata: Yesterday's count was actually 3735; at some point I overlapped counts from one session to another. So, yesterday was not a 4000+ word day.
Today, however, starting a new chapter so I'm positive where I started, has been a 4000+ word day. And the extra wordage on Monday means the average for the week is over 4000/day.
Last night I started the joining of strands 1 and 3. Today I worked on strand 4, which was feeling neglected. As a result, we've had a night attack planned by someone other than the attackers (variation on a very old theme...sucking in the unwary) and discovered how that many people are living off the country without starving the actual farmers. And I know now why Andressat doesn't like Arcolin's junior captain, but not yet exactly what Andressat finds in the archives and whether a meeting with Arcolin is what culminates in a journey that--after another journey--ends in saving Aliam Halveric's life.
