Progress

Slower than desired, but coming close.

It was alarming to discover that I had "gaps" in midbook that I had forgotten about.   Chapters 7, 13, and 15  were all below count.  (I aim for 4000-6000 word chapters, with a "really desirable" length of 4900-5400.)

Seven is now up to count, and being printed.  I need to work on 13 and 15 this afternoon, and then hit the remaining big gap tonight and tomorrow.   It's a 10K word lump that has to be written at white heat.

Beyond the gap all's done but a little sort of finial on top of the dome.   But the unexpected gaps are a pain.
