I liked it, though it was more full of tactics than I expected, and I intend to read (and probably buy) the rest of them after school gets done with and I have time.

Tactics...yeah, there is a fair bit. I've been fascinated with that end of things since early on--when I took Latin, I diagrammed the battles in Caesar.
