Writer's Block: Wild Rumpus

A lot of characters in kids' books have it pretty good, from calling the start of the wild rumpus to ordering room service from their hotel suite. If you could be any character from children's literature, who would you be?
Any of several characters in Ransome's _Swallows and Amazons_ series--Captain Nancy,  of course, but most of the others are attractive too.  In fact, I'd most like to switch from one to another--Nancy to John to Dick to Dot to Titty...but not, most of the time, to Susan.

Nose to the Grindstone: Braiding the Strands

Now up to chapter 32, but having a problem with a bridging bit of text that just does not want to be written.

And I don't know if I need to leave room in the next chapter for it to fill out 32 and be part or all of 33 or not.  Frustrating.  Several other chapters are lined up in nice order waiting their turn, like parade floats held up by some incompetent whose ruffles are falling off and whose "princess" has had a wardrobe malfunction.

Nose to the Grindstone: Braiding the Strands...tired

Got up to Chapter 35 and now I'm so tired I can't see straight.  Well, 35 and part of 36--deciding to switch POVs again, I think at this point.

Have  decided to dump four different chapters (hey, the book's not exactly *short*!)   but I may post them on my website later.

We're all the way to Midsummer.  There's a lot of book yet to come.
