Nose to the Grindstone

The second volume of the new group has now topped 70,000 words.  Only 1117 today, but I caught the crud, so I'm not beating myself up over it.

That means about 15,000 words added since the first week of December--not much when I was doing over 80,000 a month in the crunch, but the crunch pushed my hands to their physical limit.   Hoping not to do that again.  And this month I've also had serious music work, started the new blogs and websites, done an article and some other work for SFWA, and...so on.  Not just been lying around sleeping, though that would be a lovely thought if I had time.

My goal is to get back to 2000 words/day on the book, and 500-1000/day on a blog entry.   Plus the other work that needs doing in other venues.  We'll see how that goes.

Paks fans, remember that there's now a dedicated blog for Paksworld stuff, and yes, it has RSS feeds.  Check it out :   www.paksworld.com/blog/
