Anyone remember the Beatles song "When I'm Sixty-four"???

I do.  And now I am.  ("Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four?"  Apparently yes, where Richard is concerned, as he made breakfast this morning...and when he catches up to me later in the year, I'll still need/feed him, you betcha.)

80 acres: The Land's Birthday present

Besides the blooming plum trees, a few leftover wild plum blossoms, redbuds, and the first white iris, the land had a surprise--something I'd never seen before except in books or on TV:  a Luna Moth.

Pictures are over at the 80 Acres blog.

We think it was just "unfolding" itself after emerging, but it was getting dark so we didn't find whatever it might have come out of.

I tried to upload a picture here, but ran into some problems (the computers were changed around today, so this may not be an LJ problem.)
