80 Acres and Paksworld posts

I went out this afternoon and took some pictures of the effects of all that rain we had before I left and while I was gone.    Some good pictures resulted, but I found a huge Lone Star tick on my neck (running around, not dug in) when I got back to the house.

Pictures are up at the 80 acres blog.   I had failed to check the battery before I left, so I didn't take as many pictures as I might have otherwise...when it began showing a decline, I got cautious.

Over on the Paksworld blog, there are entries on visiting the editorial office while I was in NYC, on coming home, and on revision work.
