  • 10:40:23: Recovering from yesterday: lots of singing and someone going bonkers during the 9 am service.

  • 12:20:12: Behind. I am SO FAR BEHIND!! I am behind my behind. I can't see the taillights of where I should be. Waily, waily, waily, woe.

But even when you're behind, you don't lose your facility with language. I like the "so far behind I can't see the taillights of where I should be" phrase.

Waily, waily reminds me irresistably of the Nac Mac Feegles.

The Nac Mac Feegles, but even older, a folk song I learned fairly early that has "O waily, waily..." in the refrain. I think my brain has merged the two influences.
