  • 08:00:01: Up at 5 to take the guys to the bus--now to start washing yesterday's pots and make bread.
  • 16:44:18: Thanks to phone call, forgot to increase oven temperature and left poor bread in a warm, not hot oven. Results likely to be inferior.
  • 16:46:48: If you grab an old fiberglas marking stick for balance, you get a lot of tiny glass splinters in your fingers and palm. Ouch!
  • 21:33:00: Bread tastes good...the texture could be called "unique." Not bad, just...different. Tomorrow, eye doctor appointments.

Try duct tape for pulling fiberglass splinters. Same thing happened to me last year and it took out most of them.

Re: ouch!

The first thing I did when I came in the house was tape-and-pull...couldn't find the duct tape, but the freezer tape and the packing tape (wider) both did a pretty good job. Today I gave a couple of troublesome spots another treatment.

We use tape to remove small cactus spines, too. Works really great, as you said.
