  • 07:33:36: Snow before dawn...sleet & snow waiting for the next wave. Cardinals on snow: pretty. Wheels on snow: not.
  • 12:58:34: SNOW, 3+ inches. Very pretty esp. as around here it melts away in 24 hrs or less. Some pix already taken, more to come.
  • 13:57:36: Snow is coming down strongly again. It's soft, wet, snow, the kind you get when the temp's just low enough. Beautiful, though.
  • 16:22:27: Bliss = real hot cocoa after long walk out in the snow..with a little cinnamon in it.
  • 16:23:46: Errr...that's cinnamon in the hot chocolate, not cinnamon in the snow. (And you call yourself a writer, you dunce!!)
  • 23:28:46: New post up at with pictures of snow today--rare here. More to come if they load.
  • 23:31:51: New post up at about doing live research (i.e., taking a hike in the snow.)

I can imagine a short story titled "Cinnamon in the Snow". (Oddly, I actually read your initial tweet the way you intended it, until I read the correction. Normally I would have perceived the semantically strange but syntactically simpler version first. I find it reassuring that other people produce sentences like that, anyway, I'm not the only one...)

Okay, can you send some of that cold over here to Perth? Forecast for tomorrow says 42C/108F and afternoon thunderstorm. *wilts*
