  • 18:08:38: Mother's Day so far: up at 6 am, to city to sing two services (v. short of singers), flubbed 2nd anthem 2nd time, to home, copy-edits.
  • 18:09:31: M- did give me card, saw Emmanuel Axe, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma concert on PBS, so not all bad. Now back to copy-edits.

  • 18:32:57: Yesterday--found species new to the list. Dunno which of two closely related beetles it is. Image at http://bugguide.net/node/view/393785
  • 18:34:09: Oh--meant to mention--Yo-Yo Ma played the Davidov Strad for one piece. OMG the tone of that instrument! Du Pre played it; got CDs.
