Hi E.! Hope you are feeling better.... ? Wanted to offer rose help. When it comes time to prune, let me know, I did that professionally for 12 years. Well.... not just ROSES...

Mulch them well, but keep it away from the trunk a few inches, and water at the drip line... (if you knew this, AND how to prune, forgive me!)

Having Rose envy... I have two heirloom roses I hauled here from CA., and I need to get them in the ground soon. David has a couple of heirlooms I hope to take cuttings from...

The roses may take a while to settle in. I was very worried about my infant "Dreaming Spires" after the chaos of the move and the months of freeze - it has not been a good growing year, in England.

I realised today that one of them has just started to bloom ... (Normally that should start in May or June in an established DS.)
