Oh, sorry. R- put in some extra "stiffeners" in the existing gappy fence, and the next morning we moved the spare gate (10 foot, pipe) from near the barn lot to that corner and wired it in. It's a very visible barrier now.

So far, the cows have been elsewhere for >24 hours and we'll see when they're back in that lot.
