Dreams and awakenings
Over the past couple of weeks, I've had several very strange dreams (which, since I didn't jot them down, I now don't recall except that they were odder than usual.) Some were disturbing and some were merely weird (talking vegetables? With angst?). I looked at all the usual things but found nothing: no new meds, no new foods, no new stressors, and yet not so much same-old-same-old as should cause weird dreams.
Weird weather, yeah. Would weather do it? Maybe.
Anyway, this afternoon after church, I took a nap, and was having a *good* dream (in fact, would have been a very productive dream) about the new book, when the phone rang and woke me up. Someone wanting me to answer a bunch of survey questions. Grump. My mother-in-law used to call on Sunday afternoons (every week...) when we were...um...resting.... And she would start off brightly with "What are you doing?" However, in terms of annoyance, I think someone calling at 4 on a Sunday afternoon to ask you to take a survey for the benefit of newspapers and television statements is higher up the scale of annoyance. I said I wasn't interested, and hung up, but could not go back to sleep. I think this may be the same people that called yesterday, when Richard gave them the same answer.
